Final development stages of award-winning Erasmus + project
The inclusivity award-winning IEUME project is entering its final phase. The project team has recently finished developing a Skills Assessment, Validation and Recognition Package which includes tools for trainers, educators and social workers to gain insights on the learner’s progress and knowledge gained in the IEUME gamified training course, facilitate the delivery of the training content and provide support on accreditation of learning based on ECVET.
The assessment tool is complemented by an extensive guide which assists institutions during their process of integrating the training package into their activities, providing suggestions on how to utilize the IEUME material as an adult learning component as well as the most suitable pedagogical approaches to deliver the training to students and helps students to optimize their learning experience with the available support.
Both packages are available in English, an executive summary and assessment material is available in English, Portuguese, French, German, Greek, and Maltese. More information and the gamified training content can be accessed via the IEUME website. Before finally launching the project, the team is surveying migrants and workers in the field to improve the usability and browsing experience of the training. The survey can be found here via which migrants, refugees, trainers and other workers from the sector can support the optimization of the training’s outcome. The project promotes the integration of migrants in their host countries through online training on issues pertinent to the European Union and its values. This training is free of charge and covers topics such as the EU institutions, access to rights, political culture, civic participation, employability, and cultural heritage.
The free educational platform for migrants / refugees and asylum seekers is now available, which can be accessed through the project website, using the link here.
